Welcome to Session Six of our summer Bible study on the MARKED Podcast! We’re studying Encountering God, and we’re so excited to join Kelly Minter as she unpacks the biblical foundation for sacred habits along with approachable ways to practice disciplines like prayer, study, worship, rest, simplicity, generosity, celebration, and many more. Each week, we’ll release the next teaching session, and we’ll leave the audio up for all seven sessions through August 5.

Kelly challenges to simplify our lives in Session 6. She walks us through Jesus’ teaching in Matthew 6 to remind us that we are to be laying up heavenly treasure rather than earthly treasure. She calls us to orient our lives around what really matters, to turn our focus away from what we think we need to what we really need, so that we’re free to give, serve, and love as Jesus calls us to.
