It’s Thursday afternoon in New York City and I’m stepping out and about for my first trip to the Big Apple in over 2.5 years.

I could not be more excited to be in town for a few days of meetings, catch-ups and a fun event on Friday night. I missed the city so much and every thing from the sounds of honking horns to smells of nuts crackling on carts by Central Park.

It was a slow first day for me. I hit a wall of dehydration and exhaustion on my flight here. After a sleepless week with June, a few too many 5 am wake up calls and definitely not drinking enough water, I took it pretty easy on day one.
