Look for Less: Pottery Barn 'Banks' Pedestal Dining Table
April 19, 2020DMT Beauty#DMTBeautySpot #beauty

Well guys, I finally did it! I ordered a dining table from - of all places - Home Depot! I knew I wanted a solid wood table that could seat 10 for under $1,000. And after months (years?!) of searching, I found a dining table that I absolutely LOVE that fits all my criteria, too. The table I chose is the
It's made of solid mango wood and features a beautiful pedestal base, which to me is the perfect look I envisioned for transitional dining room decor. That's a fancy name for a mix of styles (when you can't really pick a favorite lol) - it's classic, a little farmhouse/rustic, and you can mix and match with a variety of chairs to give it a more updated, modern look too.
I went ahead and ordered the matching
benchas well (now $293, was $489). I'll update you with photos once my pieces arrive (sometime in May).
The table gets almost 5 stars from most reviewers on homedepot.com, which was another plus for me.
And it doesn't hurt that the Home Depot table looks a lot like this best-selling
Pottery Barn 'Banks' table, which costs $2,500. The tables are similar in size. The Pottery Barn table is a mix of wood and veneer.
If you're looking for a wood farmhouse dining table, I also love
this onefeaturing a trestle base on sale for $659. It seats 6.
Now I just need new dining room chairs. If you have suggestions, I'd love to hear them! And if you're looking for new furniture on a budget, definitely check out the selection at homedepot.com. Other sites I recommend are
World Market,
Wayfairand
Walmart(love their Better Homes and Gardens collection).
