1. K By Dolce & Gabanna
“K” stands for King – the man this fragrance is designed for. Perfumers Daphne Bugey and Nathalie Lorson created a fragrance for men who like being the alpha male taking responsibility. It is an EDT (Eau de Toilette) available in 50ml and 100ml bottles.
Top Notes: Citrus, blood orange, lemon, juniper berries.
Heart Notes: Pimento, sage, geranium, lavender.
Base Notes: Cedar, vetiver, patchouli.
2. The One By Dolce & Gabbana
The One was released in 2008 following the success of the female version. Stefano Gabbana crafted this with the goal of having a classic, everlasting fragrance. Gabbana himself considers this to be a warmer fragrance, making it appropriate for the winter.
This everyday men's cologne comes in a rectangular bottle similar to that of the women's variant – the difference being in the silver neck and a dark brown top.
Top Notes: Coriander, grapefruit, basil.
Heart Notes: Ginger, orange blossom, cardamom.
Base Notes: Amber, cedar, tobacco.
3. L.12.12 White By Lacoste
The heritage in this bottle comes from Tennis. The first Polos produced by French Tennis player Rene Lacoste had the monogram “L.12.12.” on them. The “L” stood for Lacoste, the “1” represented the material (Petit Pique) in the shirt, and the “2” referred to the short sleeves. Finally, the number 12 harkens back to the number of prototypes that were made.
What does this have to do with the fragrance? L.12.12 is a floral woody fragrance. It is versatile because it is simple, just like the shirts.

Top Notes: Rosemary, cardamom, grapefruit.
Heart Notes: Tuberose.
Base Notes: Cedar, leather, vetiver.
4. Coach For Men By Coach
This everyday men's cologne was designed for a wide audience. Its main weakness lies with the bottle design itself. The atomizer needs to be twisted in order to work. When it does, it is rather harsh.
The good news: It has mass appeal. This is a fragrance that is light on projection but pleasant to the nose. It's inoffensive and can be worn anytime, anywhere.
Top Notes: Pear, bergamot, kumquat.
Heart Notes: Cardamom, geranium, coriander.
Base Notes: Ambergris, vetiver, suede.
5. Acqua Di Gio Profumo By Giorgio Armani
Alberto Morillas designed this aquatic fragrance. The original Acqua Di Gio released in 1996 followed by a new edition 20 years later. It emulates waves crashing against the rocks on a shoreline.
It falls within the aromatic family of fragrances for its freshness. This will suit modern men well in the office or the streets.
Top Notes: Lime, sea notes.
Heart Notes: Geranium, rosemary, sage.
Base Notes: Patchouli, incense.
6. Dylan Blue By Versace
This everyday men's cologne debuted in 2016 under the license of Euroitalia. It is considered a Woody Fougere fragrance with a balanced array of scents. The bottle itself is distinguishable by Medusa's face.
Top Notes: Aquatic notes, bergamot, grapefruit, fig leaf
Heart Notes: Violet, patchouli, pepper,
Base Notes: Musk, incense, tonka bean, saffron.
7. Touch For Men By Burberry
Touch is a Woody Floral men's fragrance released by Jean-Pierre Bethouart in 2000. The balance between woods and blossoms make it a great fragrance for the fall and spring.
Top Notes: Artemisia, violet leaf, orange.
Heart Notes: Nutmeg, white pepper, cedar.
Base Notes: Tonka bean, vetiver, white musk.
8. Sauvage By Dior
Yes, a usual suspect. However, there is a reason that Sauvage appears on all the lists though. It's a delicate balance between spices, citrus, and some classic earthy vibes. Francois Demachy did well in creating a scent that any man could identify with.
Top Notes: Pepper, bergamot.
Heart Notes: Geranium, lavender, sichuan pepper, elemi, pink pepper, patchouli.
Base Notes: Cedar, labdanum, ambroxan.
9. Ombre Leather By Tom Ford
This a unisex fragrance – you and your partner can now match. It released in 2018 with a simple assortment of scents. It would fail as an everyday men's cologne if it wasn't for the earthy tones that balance out the leather.
Top Notes: Cardomom.
Heart Notes: Leather.
Base Notes: Patchouli, amber, moss.
10. Noir Extreme By Tom Ford
This fragrance came out in 2015. It balances citrus, spicy, floral, and sweet scents. The most unique aspect about it is the resemblance it has to the Kulfi Dessert from India – a particular delicacy made with snow from the Himalayas and pistachio.
Additionally, the face of the marketing campaign is none other than Tom Ford himself, and the bottle is available in 50ml and 100ml bottles.
Top Notes: Orange, neroli, nutmeg, cardamom, saffron.
Heart Notes: Mastic, rose, jasmine, kulfi.
Base Notes: Wood, amber, vanilla.
