Thierry Colson Dress, Hunting Season Clutch (sold out, similar here), Stubbs and Wooton Loafers (sold out, similar here), Rebecca de Ravenel Earrings
When my favorite color palette pairs with my current go-to silhouette, I know a dress belongs in my closet. Such was exactly the case when I first spotted this Thierry Colson midi shirtdress, which I recently wore on our trip to California. Long shirtdresses have been some of my most beloved wardrobe staples lately, and while I dressed this one up a bit with embroidered loafers (similar here) and statement earrings (similar here), I am also looking forward to wearing it in more casual ways throughout the upcoming season.

Since it can be styled for so many different settings, this is the perfect dress to pack for spring travels. The relaxed shape not only makes it incredibly comfortable, it also ensures this dress pairs well with any of the casual accessories you may have on hand. Whether on vacation or at home, I’d throw it on with white sneakers or a wide-brimmed straw hat for exploring town, running errands, or eating lunch al fresco. Even the most low-key combination will still look polished, thanks to the dress’ extra-wide collar and crisp cotton fabric. To elevate your look for evening, slip into elegant mules or espadrilles, a waist-cinching belt, and feminine earrings.

For similarly versatile looks in classic blue and white, I also love this long-sleeved floral dress, this crisp striped style, this gorgeous toile dress, and this loose-fitting maxi, to name a few. The color palette transitions effortlessly from spring to summer, so you’ll be able to reach for these pieces for months to come.
