2. Online Dating Is Tougher
If you're looking for love online and you're shorter than 5'9″ – you may have a harder time finding love than taller men.
A survey by a dating site ‘Are You Interested?' asked women what their requirements were for potential partners.
Amongst their responses was height – they concluded that women discriminate against shorter men online.
It is also common in the online dating world to see captions on women's profiles with statements such as “If you're under 6'1 don't swipe right”, or “If you're short, don't even bother”.
Finding your soulmate online can be hard – even more so when you're below average height.
However, you can leverage your other qualities so that you will have more success in finding that special woman online.
The best thing that you can do is be open about your height – after all, no one likes a liar.

4. You Don't Get Promoted
Believe it or not – promotions are hard to come by for short men.
A research paper from 2004 published in the Journal of Applied Psychology showed that height is strongly related to success for men.
The research concluded that the taller a man is – the more likely it is he will have a higher paycheck.
According to research, shorter men have a harder time getting promoted.
If you feel that you might have been looked over for promotion – here are some pieces of advice I can give you.
Be the first one to come in and the last one to leave.
If you work harder than everyone else in your department – there is absolutely no reason for you to be ignored.
Show initiative. Plain and simple – make sure your superiors know your ambitions and that you're willing to work hard for it.
5. You're Stuck With It
It is what it is.
Your height is something you can't change.
Instead of being sorrowful about it – embrace it!
Your height does NOT determine your success.
There are many famous businessmen and athletes who fall into the category of “below-average height”.
This includes Jeff Bezos, currently the richest person on Earth. Mark Zuckerberg is another great example.
Let's not forget some of the athletes as well. Lionel Messi, one of the best soccer players alive, is 5'7″.
