Effortless minis are a summer staple for me and I’m not sure I’ve ever loved one more than the Shiloh dress from our July Gal Meets Glam Collection. Even though this style boasts no shortage of details that make it special, it was so important to me that the body still felt relaxed and super comfortable. I envisioned a style our customers would want to pack for every summer getaway–lightweight, breezy, comfortable and easy to dress up or down. That’s exactly why I packed it in my weekender bag for our recent trip to The Highlands of North Carolina a few weekends back.

One of the biggest contributors to Shiloh’s comfort level is its smocked bodice. I’ve developed a whole new appreciation for smocking during my pregnancy, when my body changes seemingly daily, and know I’ll continue to gravitate toward smocked pieces long after Baby B arrives. They make it so easy to move around and stay comfortable, whether you’re sitting for a leisurely brunch or dinner, enjoying a long walk, mingling at a party, or anything in between. Paired with unique touches like a tone-on-tone floral, puff sleeves, and a square neckline, the Shiloh dress is truly ready for any adventure the day may hold!

We’ve added a lot of smocking details to our summer dresses this year as it adds a level of comfort and easy to a silhouette that I’m constantly craving. A few other effortless summer dresses with smocking details are our Corinne dress, our Andrea mini, our Claudia two piece (that comes in navy and mauve), as well as our Gwen shirtdress.
